The Head–Heart–Hands project was successfully launched with its first transnational partner meeting, held from 12 to 14 November in Slavonski Brod. The meeting brought together partners from Croatia, Slovenia, Germany and France for the first time.
The project is a holistic educational initiative addressing climate change, aiming to empower adults and older people to become active agents of climate action—not only through the acquisition of knowledge, but also by engaging emotions and fostering concrete, hands-on action.
During the kick-off meeting, the project partners established the overall work plan and communication procedures and exchanged views on the use of storytelling as a core project methodology. Particular emphasis was placed on intergenerational learning and active community engagement.
As part of the meeting, a staff training session on podcast production was also organized, during which participants acquired practical skills in planning, recording and editing audio content—an essential tool that will play a key role in collecting and sharing climate-related stories.
The project is now entering its research phase, alongside the preparation of storytelling activities and intergenerational workshops. The next transnational partner meeting is scheduled for March 2026 in Leipzig.
